We had a birthday party.
A few interesting beers, most were aged in my cellar. The next morning I saw this in the Hall.
Uhrrr... I think it's the signature of my friend Bernard. Don't know why, but it actually looks funny. I always say that if you look long enough to my cats, they seem to communicate with you. Probably they did to him. So they are still untouched since this weekend.
Blog for my little silly paintings of fat square cats. When they have found a spot they tend to give luck and love to their new owner.

I told you so...
Who didn't believe square cats didn't exist!
Well, I found these in a shop in Breda! And so I saw this other Lucky KIKS Cat.

I want Candy!!!
Sometimes you got to try something different. Not sure if I like it, but I used a background that does not look impossible anymore. In my teenage years I painted trees. Somehow one of these trees made it to this painting. I have painted this cat two times. I wasn't happy with the first version. It was also a pink cat, but not bright enough. Also I used cheap paint from a department store called the HEMA. I should stick to my own acrylic paint now.
Hey, that's not candy. Well, it's cat candy I guess. Our cat got one too last week.We only found a few feathers. It's better than with mouses. He doesn't like livers.
Subtitle taken from the first full album of one of my favorite avantgarde groups of the 80's, Mekanik Kommando. "It would be quiet in the woos if only a few birds sing their song" is still one of my favorite albums, which I play from time to time on my iPod.
Would there be only a few birds because of my "Candy Ripper" is hopping around, or is it because they all have to live in that lonely small tree?

Licorice Hunter
This Hunter is inspired by my purple Crazy Color G-6900CC, one of my favorite watches at the moment.
It's the first time I used a totally black background. Well, there are some orange clouds, but it looks very dark. Is this cat hunting in the big red storm on Jupiter? He seems to be a good, well fed hunter.

Just in...
I got this idea a long time ago, a cat that is just in time for the toilet. Not sure how to cross the legs, I choose eventually for crossed legs, instead of X-legs. I didn't want to break the rule that the cats have straight legs.
You see very cheap acryl paint at the top (HEMA) which I bought ages ago. I did not use it for this cat, as that cheap paint is too thin and does not cover well. Note the yellow part is painted in several layers on the purple background.
This cat can only be placed on one spot. I hung it there in the quiet hours.
Between a public mens and ladies toilet. It found a place I almost pass daily at my work.
I hope that it will hang there for a very long time, bringing a smile to people from time to time ;-)

Cat in the Park
An orange tiger is visiting the local park. Enjoying the spring sun, walking through the clover fields.
Bram (my son) gave it to his school teacher as a present.
