A Cat that sweat Pocari

I think this must be one of the strangest product names I have ever heard of. Pocari Sweat. It is well known in Japan and East Asia, but completely unknown to the other parts of the world. When I was in Toky, a group of girls passed me at the station, all wearing their sports clothing. The team was sponsored by Pocary Sweat Ion supply Drink.  All I wondered was, "What is a Pocari and why do you drink it's sweat?".
